Function Organic Flocculant water purification chemicals

Organic water purifying chemical polyamine of varying molecular weight and active content. They are primarily used in applications to enhance solid-liquid separation and allow rapid settlement of finely suspended solids. The range of polyamine products ensures that the solid-liquid separation process is tailored, cost-effective and efficient.

Characteristics

LANSEN polyamine is an aqueous based copolymer of dimethylamine and epichlorohydrin. It is available at different molecular weights, from low to ultra high.

Our comprehensive range is produced on world-scale, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant to ensure we can reliably serve the needs of customers globally.

Products are of high purity and consistency.

Benefits

Polyamine can be used for a wide range of solid-liquid separation situations, giving highly efficient and cost-effective effluent treatment.

It can be used alone, with an inorganic coagulant or with an organic flocculant, depending on the application. In many cases, it can remove the need for using inorganic coagulants.

These products may be used in demanding effluent treatment situations such as colour removal and treatment of textile effluents.

Polyamine in Sugar Syrup and Juice Treatment:
Sugar, with water, is one of the main raw materials in the beverage industry.
Sugar, especially cane sugar, may be of different quality depending on the type of refining process to which it was subjected. In some cases the sugar available cannot be used as it is because it does not meet the quality standards and requirements of beverage bottlers. In this case the sugar syrup may be subjected to the following treatments: filtering (to eliminate suspended solids), clarification and decolorization (to reduce turbidity and colour) and deodorization (to eliminate any unpleasant odours and/or flavours).

What's the Applications of Polyamine?

  • Water treatment (drinking and waste-water)
  • Textiles effluent decolorant
  • Mining (coal, gold, diamonds etc.)
  • Sugar and juice decolorant
  • Paper-making
  • Oil industry
  • Blend with other inorganic or organic polymers, such as ACH, PAC PFS etc..
